about
Here lies a part of me that has died
Always told to play nice
Tell me why
The boys weren't taught the same
What are you looking over here for
Never seen a girl before
Why you tryna push for more
Why you tryna push for more
Stop
Listen when I say stop
Give me your attention
Am I making myself fucking clear
The flowers that you bought me
Doesn't mean you're sorry
I think we know it's not enough
Enough enough
Why you tryna push for more
Why you tryna push for more
Push for more
You try to hide
What you are
I won't allow It anymore
Anymore anymore anymore anymore
Anymore anymore anymore

The great underlying instrumentation paired with Florence's droll stream of consciousness lyrics make this album stand out. It feels so personal and confessional. Favorite tracks are Strong Feelings and Leafy. I've heard Scratchard Lanyard on alt radio and love that one as well. tofupotpie
Oakland artist Kevin Nichols blends his love of pop melodies and Nirvana guitar tones on this first single from an upcoming full-length. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2021
